This module covers some of the objectives for the CCNA 640-801, INTRO 640-821, and ICND 640-811 exams.

Students who complete this lesson should be able to perform the following tasks:

This module has 3 core labs and 5 optional labs. We will do all of the core labs.

 

The Core Labs are:

Lab 1.1.6   PC Network TCP/IP Configuration

Lab 1.1.7   Using ping and tracert from a workstation

Lab 1.1.9   Basic PC/Network Troubleshooting Process

 

The Optional Labs are:

Lab 1.1.2 PC Hardware

Lab 1.1.8 Web Browser Basics

Lab 1.2.5 Decimal to Binary Conversion

Lab 1.2.6 Binary to Decimal Conversion

Lab 1.2.8 Hexadecimal Conversions

 

As well as the labs, there will be some worksheets which will be handed out in class. The class presentation will be delivered via a PowerPoint presentation along side the Cisco Netacad curriculum. The module exam will be done on the Netacad website.
